What
In the interfaces used by customers (e.g., web shop and self-ordering terminal), complementary products (cross-selling) can be specified, which are displayed as recommendations in a pop-up window.

Offer additional products (cross-selling)

Additional products can be specified that appear in a pop-up window as soon as the selected items are placed in the shopping cart.

Setup of additional products

  1. Log in to the Admin.
  2. Click on Admin: Marketing campaigns > Banners/Recommendations.
  3. Click on "Add banner".

The settings for the "Banners/recommendations" open:
  1. Display: Click on "Recommend items after adding to shopping cart".

  2. Description: Internal title in the Admin. Using the flag icon, content can be entered for multiple languages.

  3. Stores: Select the stores where the recommendations should be displayed.

  4. Title: Add a title (this will be displayed as a heading in the pop-up window). Using the flag icon, content can be entered for multiple languages.

  5. Recommend item: Here, the items that should be suggested as product recommendations are entered. Please make sure that all settings for the selected items are correct, as these affect the visibility of the display.

  6. Linked coupon: Here you can select a coupon that is automatically applied when the customer selects a recommended item after adding it to the shopping cart. Only coupons that are approved for the SOT channel are available for selection.

  7. Note: If no items and no commodity groups are selected, the display will be shown for all items.

  8. Display for items: Select specific items as needed for which the product recommendation should appear (alternatively, you can also recommend items for entire commodity groups). Example: If you select "French fries" here and the customer adds "French fries" to the cart, the corresponding product recommendation will be displayed.

  9. Display for commodity groups: Here, the commodity group for which the product recommendation should be displayed can be defined. The product recommendation will then appear for all items within the selected commodity group.

  10. Validities: Add a validity period (date and time). If no selection is made, the product recommendation will not be displayed.

  11. Save your settings with "Save", and the items will be recommended automatically.
