Activate different billing address in webshop/app
What In
the webshop and app, a separate billing address for delivery can be
enabled, allowing customers to specify a billing address that differs
from the delivery address, e.g. for company orders.
Where Admin:
Store management > Stores > Edit > Settings > Delivery and
take away settings > Allow different billing address for delivery.

Introduction
With the setting "Allow different billing address for delivery", your customers can enter a separate billing address in the webshop and app that differs from the delivery address.
This feature is useful when the delivery and billing recipient are not the same, such as with company orders where the invoice is sent to the accounting department.
After activation, an additional option "Add different billing address" appears in the checkout of the webshop and app. Once this option is enabled, customers can enter a different billing address. The entered data will be displayed on the invoice receipt.
Enable setting
Activate the setting in the Admin
- Go to Admin: Store management > Store > Edit > Settings.
- Navigate to "Delivery and take away settings".
- Find the option "Allow different billing address for delivery".
- Set the option to "Yes".
Using the feature in the webshop/app
Once the setting is activated, the feature is automatically available in the webshop and app for delivery orders.
Procedure in the ordering process (checkout):
- The customer enters the delivery address during checkout.
- The checkbox "Add different billing address" is displayed.
- When the checkbox is selected, an additional section for the billing address appears.
- The customer can choose whether it is a private or company billing address.
- The customer enters the different billing address.
- The order is completed with separate delivery and billing addresses.
Note:
The additional billing address is only shown if the checkbox "Add different billing address" is actively selected.
