Download product catalog (data feed) for Facebook ads

Download product catalog (data feed) for Facebook ads

With dynamic Facebook ads, you can easily reach users on Facebook and Instagram without having to create countless ads. These ads appear in the Facebook feed, right sidebar (desktop view), Instagram feeds and stories, Audience Network, and Messenger.

The ads help reach and retarget your audience during their daily social media use. Dynamic product ads are ideal for promoting your product catalog to Facebook users who have already interacted with your brand or show similar interests. The Facebook system automatically displays matching products to the target audience based on their previous behavior (thanks to Facebook Pixel).

To promote your products on Facebook, you simply use SIDES to create a Facebook product catalog from your item list. This catalog already contains all the mandatory attributes required by Facebook and can be uploaded directly in your Facebook Commerce Manager.

Download data feed

This is how you create and download the data feed in the SIDES Admin:
  1. Log in to the admin interface.
  2. Navigate to "Item" in the left menu and select "Item" to access your article list.

  3. Select a store from the dropdown list in the upper left. The items that this store carries will be made available for export.

  4. Click the button "Export sale items with details" button in the top right corner.

  5. Select the option "Facebook CSV Export".

  6. Save the export to your system.

Upload CSV file to Facebook

Afterwards, you can upload the created CSV file directly to Facebook. You can find the steps for this in the Facebook help file at the following link:
