How do I limit the number of incoming orders per timeframe?

Set a Time interval and a Maximum number of orders in the settings to spread the workload in the kitchen.

Steps:
  1. Log in to the SIDES Admin and go to Store management > Stores.
  2. Click on the blue Webshop settings.
  3. Adjust the "Time interval for pre-order options" (e.g., 15 or 20 minutes). This determines the size of the 'slots' in the webshop.
  1. Go to the "Preorders" tab (under Settings).
  2. Enter the maximum number of orders allowed per interval for each day (e.g., 2 per slot).
  3. Click Save.

Important: Make sure to specify the full time range of your delivery or pickup hours in the pre-orders (e.g., 12:00 to 21:00) so the system can calculate the intervals across the entire day.
