Deactivate Klarna as a payment type

What
Klarna is a payment type that guests can use to pay for their order. The payment type can be activated or deactivated individually for each store.

Where
Admin: Store management > Stores > Edit > Payment types > Klarna pay later.



Guests can pay for their order using Klarna. If you do not want to offer this payment type for a specific store, you can deactivate it directly in the store settings.

The setting only applies to the respective store. If Klarna is also activated in other stores, the setting must be configured separately for each store.


Deactivate Klarna

  1. Log in to the SIDES Admin.
  2. Navigate to Store management > Stores.




  3. Click "Edit" next to the desired store.




  4. Go to the "Payment types" tab.
  5. Find "Klarna pay later" in the list of payment types. Alternatively, you can select "SIDES Pay" from the dropdown menu at the top. All SIDES Pay payment types will then be displayed, including "Klarna pay later".
  6. Set the payment type to "No" to deactivate it.
  7. Click "Save" at the bottom of the page to apply the change.

    The "Klarna" payment type will no longer be displayed for this store.






Notes

  1. Existing orders: Orders placed with Klarna before the payment type was deactivated are not affected and will continue to be processed through Klarna as usual.

  2. Reactivation: The payment type can be activated again at any time using the same path.

  3. Multiple stores: If Klarna needs to be deactivated for multiple stores, the process must be repeated separately for each store.
