- User Experience & Accessibility
Improved the way minimum order values are displayed in the shopping cart, making it clearer for customers and reducing confusion.
Enhanced accessibility by ensuring all form fields have proper labels, making it easier for users with screen readers to navigate checkout, account creation, and the store finder.
Made the webshop even more accessible by adding descriptive alternative text to essential images like logos and product photos, improving the experience for visually impaired users.
Product information pages can now display the alcohol percentage for relevant items, providing more clarity for customers.
Corrected an issue with fast scrolling on mobile devices to ensure the correct product category is always selected.
- Payment & Order Management
For our partners in Switzerland, we have introduced "Swiss rounding" as an optional rounding method for cash payments, which can be configured in your settings.
The system now calculates and displays the lowest possible price for menu items that include "half-half" options or free components, giving customers a clearer upfront price.
These updates improve the underlying infrastructure and technical capabilities of our platform.
Optimized the handling of store logo images to improve performance.
Completed significant refactoring and improvements to the shopping cart's underlying code for better stability.
Enhanced our analytics capabilities by adding voucher information to the Google Tag Manager DataLayer.
Implemented the Adjust SDK, enabling advanced analytics and marketing attribution for mobile apps.
Enabled the use of Google Tag Manager within the native Android and iOS apps.
Developed a new suite of integration tests to automate the process of taking screenshots for App Store and Play Store submissions.
🐞 Bug Fixes
We have squashed several issues to improve the stability and reliability of the webshop and app.
- Visual Enhancements
Smoothed out flickering animations that occurred when opening customizable items or navigating within the app menu for a cleaner user experience.
The subtotal is now correctly displayed in the shopping cart at all times.
Fixed an issue where the pick-up address was not showing on the checkout page.
Removed unnecessary text that was incorrectly displayed next to bonus points.
Ensured long product names are no longer cut off on the checkout and order overview pages.
Corrected the headline on the imprint page to display "Imprint" instead of an error message.
The "Current Location" button for outdoor delivery is now properly centered.
Unified the design and colors of the quantity selection buttons for toppings for a more consistent look.
- Functionality & Logic Improvements
Resolved an issue on Safari where the "Order Overview" page would sometimes show outdated information if cookies were declined.
Fixed a critical issue where deleting an invalid voucher from the cart would incorrectly remove other valid vouchers.
Corrected an issue where vouchers for discounted items could be applied more times than allowed.
Pre-order time slots now correctly account for store break periods, preventing orders from being accepted when the kitchen is closed.
Addressed an issue that prevented items from being added to the cart from product groups using the "Multisize" tile format.
Quantity counters in multi-selection menu groups now increase correctly when items are added.
Fixed an issue where Safari's pop-up blocker could prevent the address search from redirecting users to the webshop.
Resolved an issue that could cause customers to be charged twice when paying with PayPal.
Corrected an issue where mandatory items linked to a voucher could be deleted from the cart while the voucher itself remained.
The "Disable other discounts" setting for Happy Hour promotions is now working correctly.
Ensured that voucher validity dates are now correctly enforced in the webshop.
Fixed an issue where customers could still select pickup for their order even after it had been deactivated in the backend.
Using a saved address now works seamlessly with the zip code-based store finder.
Corrected an accessibility issue where the cursor would not move correctly in the email field on login/registration pages.
Resolved an issue where an incorrect error message was shown for fully booked pre-order time slots.
Fixed an issue where delivery was blocked when using the split input store finder.
