Self-ordering terminal ("in the POS cash register")

Calling up the self-ordering terminal

The self-ordering terminal allows your customers to place their orders directly at a terminal. This should be placed in a clearly visible area in the entrance area.

In order for you to use the terminal, it must be activated by us. To do this, please contact customer service.

If it is not activated/enabled, you will see at least one of the following messages:

If the terminal is activated, then after logging into the POS (cash register), please click on the button of the category or category item "Selfservice" with the "monitor icon" in the menu navigation on the right to start the self-ordering terminal.

You will then be taken to a page where you need to click the "START SELF-ORDERING-TERMINAL" button.

The next step will take you to a login page (https://xxxxxxxxxx.simplyselfservice.de/login [replace the "x"'s with the name of your restaurant or restaurant chain]) where you will need to enter your credentials again. Alternatively, you can directly enter the corresponding URL above into the browser search bar and enter your access data there.

The terminal will then start.

To start it without the browser bar, you should run the browser in fullscreen mode. To set this, proceed as follows:

Create a shortcut of Chrome on the desktop. To do this, select the Start button, and then locate Chrome. Left-click the tile or icon of the application, then drag it to the desktop, and release the mouse button.

Go to the desktop and right-click on the icon. Select the Properties item. A window will open. Click in the field "Target:". Copy this link and replace the link from below with their checkout URL.
