Version 1.2.192 - New features, changes and bug fixes

ADMIN+POS

  • New features: In the Admin --> in the category "Personnel" --> at the category sub-item "Employees", the blue "rocket icon" button has been added to the right of each employee list entry, in which view you can save a "personal vehicle" for the employee. This does not select one of the vehicles created/to be created in the category "Vehicles" --> in the category subitem "Vehicles", but instead a new "personal vehicle" is created, which cannot be found in the vehicle list afterwards, as this would mean that it would be available for selection in the POS in the driver terminal (or similar) for all employees. Said "personal vehicle" is selected if the corresponding employee selects the already existing option "own vehicle" each time when logging in to the driver terminal (or similar). However, to be able to select this option, it is not necessary to create a "personal vehicle" in the Admin.

In the view that can be accessed in the Admin --> in the category "Personnel" --> at the category sub-item "Employees" via the light green "pencil icon" button to the right of each employee list entry, the dark green button "SAVE & EDIT VEHICLE" has additionally been added at the bottom right with which the edits are saved in the view and forwarded to the view of the new blue "rocket icon" button.

  • Bug fix: The "%BILLPOS_DESC_KITCHEN%" print template placeholder for the "Description for Kitchen Receipt:" field in each item's item settings was not displaying for menu items on kitchen receipts when purchasing the "Menu" item type.
  • New features/Changes: In the Admin --> at the category item "Dashboard" --> when selecting all options except "all my stores" at the dropdown menu in the top right and in the POS --> at the category items "Dashboard" and "Dashboard (Beta)" --> at the window "Delivery times" at the tab "Shops & Portals" or the tabs "Shops & Portals" and "Delivery Areas" the corresponding sections for the [Web-]"Shops", "[Delivery-]Portals" and "Delivery Areas" it can now be selected, what will be shown/hidden individually by individual user rights. The new user rights, which have been added in the Admin --> in the category "Users" --> at the category subitem "User rights" (or possibly still have to be entered) are "dashboard.showCloseWebshop", "dashboard.showDisableDeliveryPortal" and "dashboard.showDeliveryAreas". If there is the wish to show or hide these areas from specific user groups, this must first be requested from SimplyDelivery.
  • New features: In the Admin --> at the category item "Dashboard" --> when selecting "all my stores" at the top right at the dropdown menu --> at the "Webshops and Portals" tab, the "OPEN ALL WEBSHOPS" and "CLOSE ALL WEBSHOPS" and "ACTIVATE ALL DELIVERY PORTALS" and "DISABLE ALL DELIVERY PORTALS" buttons have now been added.

ADMIN+POS+Webshop:

  • New features: In the Admin --> in the category "Incentives" --> at the category sub-item "Bonus Points" --> in the edit view, accessible via the light green button "ADD RULE" on the top left or the "pencil icon" button on the right of each bonus point rule list entry --> at "application type" the options "Topping" and "Topping Groups" have been added.

POS+SimplyDrive driver app:

  • Change: Manual sorting (with corresponding setting including pre-orders) (can be switched on and off) was already possible before in the POS --> in "Tour planning", but "only in tour blocks" - everything else was ignored by the driver app. Now the exact order of ther orders as it can be seen "at the end" at the tab "Orders" there is also transferred to the driver app in exactly the same way.

ADMIN+POS+SimlyDrive driver app:

  • Change: In the driver app, the normal/actual address of a customer is now always displayed instead of the geo-coordinates when routing is activated/displayed via e.g. the Google Maps app.

Exceptions are "outdoor deliveries" and deliveries where the exact coordinates of the customer's address were corrected when creating an order in Admin or POS (because they did not exactly match the coordinates of the address as they were originally transmitted by Google).
