Version 1.2.223 - New features, changes and bug fixes (also Kitchen Manager version 2.4)

New features:

ADMIN+POS

• In the Admin --> in the category "Store" --> at the category sub-item "Stores" --> in the view after clicking on the light green "pencil icon" button "edit" right at each store list entry --> at the tab "Selfservice Terminal" in the menu "Selfservice Settings" at the bottom (left) by entering the corresponding placeholders the possibilities have been added to change the order number (resp. the alias, if available and active) as well as the waiting time in minutes (which are displayed by default) e.g. in terms of size, font, font color, background color and even more customizable. Also by entering the appropriate placeholder, it is now possible in the self-service terminal after the order completion to automatically temporarily fade in a QR code for the respective order, which can be scanned to be able to take the invoice receipt digitally, whereby a printout of this is no longer mandatory (leaving a printer generally active/existent, however, can still be necessary/helpful). Additionally, in the POS --> in the category "Order overview" --> at the category subitem "Order overview" --> at the tab "Orders to be picked up" --> after clicking on the green "Printer icon" button for self-service orders, more details can now be viewed in the modal that opens.

Webshops+Apps:

• If an active "SIDES Pay"(/"Stripe") merchant account exists in the system, the "Klarna Pay Later" payment method can now also be used (however, this may need to be activated separately).

Changes:

ADMIN+POS

• In Admin+POS --> at the category item "Dashboard" --> in the view after clicking on the orange button "HELP AND MANUAL" as well as in beta views in the opening menu when clicking on the light blue "'?'(question mark) icon" button in the upper right corner, the SIDES support portal has now been linked, which contains the new and improved manual as well as a community area, release logs, a voting tool and a roadmap for future features and some more.

Furthermore, the contact address for the support team has been updated.

Changes+Bug fixes:

ADMIN

• Visual adjustments as well as bug fixes for saving fields that will no longer make them get cleared or their contents replaced in the admin --> in the category "Users" --> at the "Users" category sub-item --> in the edit view after clicking the light green "pencil icon" "edit" button.

Bug fixes:

ADMIN+POS+Webshops:

• The "from-time" and "to-time" limits of item validities now work more logically and also evenly across Admin+POS and webshops.

POS (Kitchen Manager):

• Kitchen Manager version 2.4:

New features like a calendar function in the pre-order modal, a setting to decide whether to use "countdown timer" or "countup timer" (elapsed time), visual indicator on the packing station and in the list view on workstations for new items on parked and then processed orders, the possibility to now adjust not only the font size but also the tile size and thus the maximum number of tiles that can be displayed on the customer monitor and the possibility to see on which delivery portal the orders were created (if this was the case) as well as various small visual adjustments and bug fixes.
