To add a vehicle type, click on the “Vehicle types” sub-item in the “Dispatch management” category.
Then click on the “ADD VEHICLE TYPE” button in the top right-hand corner.
Active: Here you can select whether the vehicle type should currently be treated as active in use or not.
Name: Here you enter a system-internal name for the vehicle type. Highly recommended to facilitate assignments and maintain an overview.
Description: Here you enter a system-internal description for the vehicle type. (optional)
Route calculation as: Here you select the routing mode. You can only choose between “Car” (basically any motorized vehicle at least the size of a small car, as well as heavy and light motorcycles, optionally even mopeds/scooters or similar) and “Bicycle” (basically only actual bicycles, optionally also mopeds/scooters or e-scooters). The selected routing mode determines how routes are calculated for orders where a vehicle of this type has been selected for delivery.
Recommendation from km: Here you specify the number of kilometers from which the use of this vehicle type is recommended.
Goods value limit for tours with multiple orders: Specifies the maximum goods value that the vehicle can transport. This is only an estimate. This limit does not apply to tours with a single order.
Image for the invoice and kitchen receipt: Here you can set which symbol should be displayed on the invoice and kitchen receipt to represent the vehicle type when it is used for an order. You can choose between “Bicycle,” “E-bike” (“Bicycle with electric motor” or similar), ‘Scooter’ (mopeds/mofas and motorcycles), and “Car” (cars and trucks).
Finally, click on the “SAVE” button at the bottom.
