WisePad 3.0 with Restaurant POS App

What The Stripe WisePad 3.0 can be used in combination with the Restaurant POS App as a Bluetooth payment terminal for Android and iOS to accept contactless payments such as credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and many more. Where Restaurant POS App: WisePad Terminal.

Prerequisite

SIDES Pay is set up in the Administration.

Connecting the WisePad 3 with the Restaurant App

1. Open the menu in the top-left corner or tap "Device settings" on the home screen.

2. Select "Devices". If you previously tapped "Device settings", this step will be skipped automatically.

3. Tap "Add payment terminal".

4. Choose "Request authorization" if the Bluetooth permission is not yet set, as access to nearby devices is required for setup. 

5. Select "Allow" on both iOS and Android to enable the search for nearby devices.

    

6. Choose "Request location approval" if location services are not yet enabled, as they are required for setup.

7. Select "While using this app" on both iOS and Android to activate location services and allow payments.

  

8. Turn on the WisePad 3 and select "Search devices" in the Restaurant POS app.

9. Select "Connect".

10. If the connection is successful, the WisePad 3 will display "Ready".

Payment process

1. Once the WisePad 3 is connected, the payment method "Bluetooth Terminal" can be selected.

2. The WisePad 3 shows the amount to be paid on the display.

3. Hold the EC or credit card to the WisePad 3.
If the transaction is successful, this will be displayed on both the WisePad 3 and also in the cash register.
