New Features and Improvements

The New Homepage
  • Complete Homepage Redesign: We have completely overhauled the homepage of your webshop to offer your customers a modern and consistent shopping experience. The goal of this comprehensive redesign is to combine a high-quality appearance with new, helpful features. Thanks to the clear structure, your customers can navigate more quickly and access important areas directly from the homepage.           
  • Uniform Design: The homepage components for guests and logged-in users have been aligned to ensure a consistent and professional look throughout your entire shop.       

  • Product Recommendation Slider: A new dynamic product recommendation slider has been introduced on the homepage to suggest relevant items and generate more sales.           

  •  New Store Info Widget: A modernized store info widget has been added to the homepage, giving your customers quick access to important store details.           
  • Revised Voucher Area: The voucher area on the homepage has been revised to better highlight available discounts and encourage their use.          

  •  Favorites Area: For logged-in users, a "Your Favorites" area has been added to the homepage, allowing quick access to their top items.          
  •  Quick Reorder Feature: A "Recent Orders" area with a quick reorder button has been introduced on the homepage, making it extremely easy for returning customers to buy from you again. 
  • Loyalty Program Overview: A dynamic loyalty program overview has been added to the homepage, instantly showing logged-in users their active rewards and thus strengthening customer retention.          

  • New Homepage Footer: A mobile-optimized homepage footer has been launched, attractively presenting your brand, social media links, and mandatory legal information.

Customization & Branding

  • Expanded Icon Library: Our icon library has been expanded to support new features and give you more visual customization options.      
  • Modernized Button Design: The button design across the entire platform has been updated to meet the latest modern design guidelines.     

  • Striking Contrast Colors: Styling options have been added to use contrast colors for active labels, making interactive elements stand out more.       

User Experience & Accessibility

  • Improved Accessibility for Items: The layout and readability of items and extras (toppings) for users who rely on accessibility features have been significantly improved.           

  • Optimized Desktop Shopping Cart: The desktop shopping cart view has been optimized to make better use of screen space. The improved scrolling behavior ensures a smoother checkout process.           

  • Easy Deselection of Extras: Customers now have the option to easily deselect optional extras without having to restart the entire item configuration.           

  • Highlighted Cookie Banner: The cookie banner has been redesigned and the "Accept All" option visually highlighted, with the goal of securely increasing customer opt-in rates.        

  • Detailed Product Info: Product info popups have been expanded and now contain detailed descriptions for store credit items, so customers better understand their purchases.                   
  • Flexible Password Rules: Password validation rules have been expanded to accept more special characters, increasing security and user convenience.           

Payment & Order Management               

  1. International Phone Numbers: The '+' symbol is now supported in phone number fields during checkout, making it easier for international customers to order from you.           

Bug Fixes

We have squashed several bugs to improve the stability, reliability, and visual presentation of the webshop and the app.

Visual Improvements

  • Visible Order Confirmation Icons: An issue was fixed where icons on the order confirmation page were sometimes hidden. This now ensures a clear and consistent display.                   
  • Complete Webshop Name: A display error was corrected where the webshop name was truncated in the prompt to install the mobile app.                   

  • Uniform Corner Settings: A bug was fixed to ensure that disabling rounded corners in your settings is uniformly applied to all shop elements.                   
  • Correct Quantity Display: A formatting issue was fixed where double-digit item quantities were cut off in the shopping cart view.          

  • Aligned Payment Icons: Icons and descriptions of payment methods in the checkout have been better aligned for a cleaner, more professional look.              
  • Visible Address Suggestions: A visual bug was fixed where long address suggestions were not correctly highlighted during the search.                   
  • Custom App Icons: The visibility of custom icons within the mobile apps has been restored.                

  • Tidy Loyalty Program: The alignment of descriptions in the loyalty program has been corrected for a tidier user interface.                   

  • Rounded Payment Options: The visual borders for payment options have been adjusted to ensure a consistent, rounded appearance.                   

  • Correct Product Spacing: Missing gaps between product tiles have been restored to prevent a cluttered menu layout.                   

Functional & Logic Improvements

  • Clear Address Error Messages: The error messages displayed when entering an invalid address in the user profile have been phrased more clearly to reduce customer confusion.                       

  • Correct Topping Limits: A logic error was fixed that allowed customers to bypass the limits for toppings/extras when using the quick reorder feature.                       

  • Visible Order Notes: An issue was fixed that prevented customer order notes from being displayed correctly on delivery orders.                       

  • Forgiving Voucher Entry: Voucher entry has been improved so that customers can successfully redeem codes even if they accidentally copy additional spaces.                       

  • Correct Free Item Logic: A bug was fixed where automatic free items from vouchers incorrectly remained in the shopping cart after the conditions had changed.                       

  • Automatic Delivery Switch: An issue in the checkout process was fixed, so that "immediate delivery" is now automatically selected when switching from "pickup".                       

  • Faster Loading Times: Page loading times have been improved by preventing deactivated loyalty program components from loading in the background.                       
  • Fixed Deep Links: The deep linking logic was corrected so that customers are now redirected to the correct menu items when opening the shop via external links.                       

  • Protection Against Negative Totals: Certain voucher combinations no longer lead to negative order totals, protecting your revenue.                       

  • Reliable Reorders: The reorder feature has been fixed to ensure that customers can seamlessly and flawlessly place past orders again.                       

  • Transparent Group Discounts: It has been ensured that applied discount amounts are now also correctly displayed in the shopping cart for group orders.                       

  • Selectable Product Groups: A critical bug was fixed that prevented users from properly selecting product groups.                       

Platform & Backend Updates

These updates improve the underlying infrastructure and technical capabilities of our platform.

  • Improved SEO Performance: SEO capabilities have been expanded to increase your shop's visibility on search engines and AI platforms. This helps you reach more organic customers.                               

  • Stable App Redirects: Internal app build validations have been strengthened to prevent redirection errors during the payment process.                               

  • Smart App Download Prompt: The prompt to download the app is now automatically hidden for users who are already in the iOS app, to avoid rejection issues in the App Store.
