New cash registers must be reported to the relevant tax office within 30 days of purchase.
The required information is available for you in the administration area under Admin: Store > Stores > Edit > then in the "Cash registers" tab.
By clicking on the red button "To the registration form" at the bottom of the window in the section "Cash register system reporting form according to §146a AO", the data is compiled, and you will be redirected to the form in which all cash registers are listed.
Please note that the tax number must be stored in the 13-digit number format required for ELSTER.
If you do not have this 13-digit tax number at hand, you can determine it using one of the following converters:
You can then export this data using the green buttons, either as a PDF or as an uploadable, ELSTER-compatible XML file, and upload it directly to ELSTER.
The following information must be filled in or checked for each cash register:
- Cash register ID & name
- Type (e.g. WEB POS)
- Software & version
- Manufacturer (e.g. SimplyDelivery GmbH)
- Model name
- TSE serial number & certificate ID
- TSE assignment date
- Date of purchase
- Date of commissioning
- Optional: Date of decommissioning and reason
The TSE information is entered automatically.
Check all details carefully.
Then check the box "I have checked the data for accuracy".
To download the form, select the desired format: "PDF" or "XML".
Click on "Download as PDF" or "Download as XML".
You must then submit the generated file independently to the tax office in the ELSTER portal.
