Check your menu and store details
In short
We import your menu, and you check it and your store details before the first real order comes in. You start in the admin area under Item management and Store management > Stores.
Applies to: All new SIDES customers, once your menu has been imported.

The key rules at a glance
- Check everything before the first real order. Otherwise a wrong price only shows up when your guests pay.
- Check the price of every size: in SIDES, each size is a separate item.
- Check extras for every size: if an extra costs a different amount per size, it is set up separately for each size.
- If you have several stores, check each one: prices and store details can differ per store.
- Fix small errors yourself. Report bigger errors to Sid instead of creating items again.
Check your menu
Check your imported menu with this list: log in to the admin area and keep your menu next to you.

Correct a price

You correct a wrong price directly on the item; for sizes, on the item for that size.
- Log in to the admin area.
- Open Item management > Item.
- Find the item in the list.
- Next to the item, click Edit.
- Enter the right price in the prices section.
- Save the item.
Result: The item has the right price.

Check your store details

Your store details decide when and how your guests can order and pay.
- Log in to the admin area.
- Open Store management > Stores.
- Next to your store, click Edit.
- Check the name, address and owner.
- Check the opening hours, including breaks during the day.
- Open the Settings tab.
- Check the delivery and pickup times.
- Open the Payment type tab.
- Check that the payment types you want to offer are active.
Result: Your store details are right.
If you changed something, click Save at the bottom of the page before you switch tabs.
Troubleshooting
I don't see a menu yet
Then we're still entering the data. Ask Sid about the progress. If you haven't sent your menu yet, see Send your menu.
Many prices are wrong or a commodity group isn't there
Don't create anything twice. Let Sid know what's wrong, for example: “The prices of the large pizzas are wrong.” If you can, attach a photo of the page of your menu.
If this doesn't help
Ask Sid in the admin area. So that Sid can help you quickly, please include:
- your customer number
- the name of your restaurant and the store
- what is affected: commodity group, item or store details
- what is wrong and what would be right
