In short
Your go-live is done when real orders arrive, print and are paid. Check it beforehand with this checklist and one test order per order channel.
Applies to: All new SIDES customers. Points that only apply in Germany are marked.

The key rules at a glance
- Only take real orders once every order channel has passed a test order.
- Germany only: if SIDES is your main till, the TSE must be active before your first real order.
- Keep the till logged in while you take orders. Otherwise Lieferando or Thuisbezorgd orders don't arrive.
- Ask Sid before you cancel a test order.
Till, printers and team
- You can log in on the till on every device you use.
- Every printer prints a test page: in the admin area under Hardware > Printer, with the test-print icon next to the printer.
- All employees are set up under Personnel management > Employee with a suitable role and can log in on the till with their personnel number.
If a printer doesn't print, ask Sid.
Test orders on every channel
Every test order must arrive, print correctly and be paid:

Important: Ask Sid before you cancel: in Germany the TSE signs every transaction, test orders included, and cancellations appear in your reports.
Payments
Test every payment method you use:
- Cash: settle a test order in cash
- Card: when completing the order, choose Card terminal and pay on the SIDES Pay payment terminal; the receipt prints
- Online: pay for a webshop test order online
- SIDES Pay: your Stripe verification is complete, otherwise you can't accept payments, see Set up and activate SIDES Pay.
TSE and till registration (Germany only)
- Under Store management > Stores > Signature service provider, you see the green active field and no red button under ERS status.
- The invoice receipt of your test order shows the TSE signature.
- Every till is registered with the tax office, at the latest 30 days after purchase, see Set up your till and TSE in Germany.
In Austria the RKSV applies: ask Sid before you go live.
Store details and delivery

- Address, owner, opening hours, menu and prices are correct, see Check your menu and store details.
- With a webshop: legal notice (Impressum), privacy policy, allergens and additives are in place.
- Your Google API key is set up for every store, and if you deliver, your delivery areas are set up too, see Basic setup step by step.
- In the Dashboard, your webshop and delivery platforms are open. Under Store management > Stores, none of your delivery areas (pin icon) is greyed out.
In the first week
If this doesn't help
Ask Sid in the admin area. So that Sid can help you quickly, please include:
- your customer number
- the name of your restaurant
- which point doesn't work and the exact message
- for a single order: the invoice number
