Using the quick checkout button in the POS

The quick checkout allows for a fast order completion directly from the item view. With an additional button, the order can be completed immediately using the preselected payment type.

The quick checkout enables an especially fast order completion directly from the item view.

Using an additional button, an order can be completed immediately with the default payment type —ideal for Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).


Target audience

  1. POS (Point of Sale) users.
  2. Particularly suitable for QSRs (Quick Service Restaurants) with fast, repetitive payment workflows.

How it works

In the item view at the POS, an additional button for completing the order is displayed in the bottom-right corner.

Button display
  1. The button always shows the name of the payment type currently set as default.
  2. Example:
    1. Default payment type: "Debit card"
    2. Button label: "Pay with debit card"


Setting a payment type as default

A payment type can be set as the default in the store settings.
  1. Navigate to Admin: Store management > Stores > Edit > Payment type.

  2. For the payment type you want to use as default, toggle "Standard cash register" to "Yes".





Using the quick checkout

Step-by-Step
  1. Take the order as usual via the item view.

  2. Tap the quick checkout button, for example "Pay with debit card".




  3. The order is automatically completed using the default payment type, and a confirmation message is displayed.




  4. If the "Eat here/Take out prompt" setting is enabled:
    1. This prompt will appear after tapping the quick checkout button.
    2. Only after responding to the prompt will the payment be processed using the default payment type.
      (The "Eat here/Take out" setting can be enabled under Admin > Store management > Stores > Edit > Settings > Taxes and deposits > In-house for counter sales/In-house for table sale > Ask operator.)

  5. If you need to use a different payment type, it can be selected under the "Complete order" button, located directly below the quick checkout button.

Practical example

  1. Select the items.
  2. Tap "Pay with debit card" (precondition: the debit card is set as the default payment type in the settings).
  3. (Optional) Select "Eat here/Take out".
  4. The order is completed immediately.
