How do I activate group orders (shared shopping cart) for my webshop?

Quick solution
With the Group orders feature, customers can collaborate on a single order by sharing a unique link or code. This is ideal for office groups or friends who want to order together.

Important requirement:
This feature is exclusively available for customers using Webshop 2.0. On an older version? Contact Sales for an upgrade.

Steps to activate the feature:
  1. In the SIDES Administration, go to Webshop & App.
  2. Select Webshop settings.
  3. Navigate to the Shopping cart & checkout tab.
  4. Find the option "Activate group order" and set the toggle to Yes.
  5. Click Save at the bottom.

How it works for the customer:
A "+Group" or "Start Group Order" button will now appear in your webshop's shopping cart. The customer can use this to generate and share a link. Everyone with the link can then add products to the organizer's shared cart.
