Release Notes Restaurant POS App 0.9.38 - March 13, 2025

Bitmap mode (for fonts, symbols, and graphics)

With bitmap mode, you can print all fonts, symbols, and graphics - regardless of which printer you use.

How to activate bitmap mode:
  1. Go to the "Restaurant POS app".
  2. Go to "Manage printers" or select "Printer" in the menu.
  3. Select the desired printer and click on "Edit".
  4. Check the "Bitmap mode" box to activate the function.
  5. Save the setting by clicking "Save changes".





Logo upload for print templates

You can add your own graphics, images, and logos to the print templates.

How to add your own logo:
  1. Go to the "Restaurant POS app".
  2. Go to "Manage templates" or select "Templates" in the menu.
  3. Select the desired template and click on "Edit".
  4. Drag the logo symbol to the desired position in the template.
  5. Now click on the logo symbol in your template. The "Properties image" section will then appear on the right-hand side.
  6. Now you can upload a graphic, image, or logo by clicking on "Select image".





Open cash drawer when printing

This function makes it possible to open the cash drawer automatically when a specific print template is used, and can be individually assigned to individual print templates.

How to activate the automatic opening of the cash drawer when printing for a print template:
  1. Go to the "Restaurant POS app".
  2. Go to "Manage templates" or select "Templates" in the menu.
  3. Select the desired template and click on "Edit".
  4. In the "General" section, check the box next to "Open cash drawer on print".





Activate/deactivate templates in the print template overview

In the print template overview, you can now easily activate or deactivate templates using a checkbox.

How to activate or deactivate a template:
  1. Go to the "Restaurant POS app".
  2. Go to "Manage templates" or select "Templates" in the menu.
  3. Check or uncheck the checkbox in the "Active" column next to the desired template. If the green tick is set, the print template is active.





New print templates for the Netherlands

The following new print templates are now available for the Netherlands:
  1. Packing list
  2. Cash balance
  3. Interim invoice
