In general, the driver should have a sufficient data plan.
- Ask, if necessary assure that the Internet access works (e.g. switch off WLAN and call up something in the browser).
The battery should be in order.
The device should not be too old and should not have any "magic" apps installed to optimize battery life/app access or similar, or be rooted/jailbroken.
- Ask, check if necessary, if everything runs smoothly, scrolls, etc.
Do not quit (swipe up) the app during the entire usage.
Android (open settings):
- Battery
--> Energy saving mode: OFF
--> Battery manager: OFF
- Location
==> Open app permission
--> Check that SimplyDrive is displayed under "Access only during use".
--> If not, tap SimplyDrive and set "Access only during use ...".
- Network and Internet
==> Open mobile data
=> Mobile data ON
=> Open data usage through apps
--> Open SimplyDrive
-> Background data ON
-> Unrestricted data usage ON
(only has an effect in data saver mode, but this should remain switched off)
=> CHECK data warning and limit
In the status bar, swipe down from the top and also check:
- Power saving mode OFF
- Mobile data ON
- WLAN as needed (better on)
iOS (open settings):
- Cellular
--> Mobile data ON
--> Scroll ... SimplyDrive ON
- Battery
--> Power saving mode OFF
- SimplyDrive
--> Location
-> Enable when using the app
-> Exact location ON
--> Camera ON
--> Messages
-> Allow messages ON
--> Mobile data ON
On iOS 15, check if the new "Focus" feature is used, if applicable.
If so, assure that SimplyDrive is not blocked accordingly.
